"Willmar Regional Aviation Day "
On Sunday, September 5th, USMHC was asked to have a display of various military items at the Willmar Regional Aviation Day held at the Willmar Municipal Airport. The EAA (Experimental Aircraft Association) Chapter 1172 hosted the event as a fundraiser for the Young Eagles Aviation Scholarship fund.
The display included items related to aviation from World War I through the present. Uniforms, some field gear, and more were displayed in a GP SMall tent.
Being the display highlighted aviation items in the collection, it was primarily Army, Navy, and Air Force items. the collection does not include aviation related items from other branches currently.
