"Memorial Day display and talk at Appleton Municipal Nursing Home"
On Saturday, May 28th I was invited to share some of my collection with the residents and guests of the Appleton Municipal Nursing home in honor of Memorial Day.
The display included items from the Civil War through the present. A special emphasis was placed on WWII items.
I discussed a bit about how the military uniforms and equipment has changed over the years and become more focused for the regions and tasks the military faces.
