The American Patriot Program Honor Event - November 12th:
On November 12th I had the honor of being able to present 4 American Patriot Awards to combat wounded veterans from WWII, Korea, Vietnam, and Iraqi Freedom. I had nominated these four individuals for the award, and the presentation was held at the Willmar Auditorium during the Veterans Day Observance.
Each recipient was given the American Patriot Award, a certificate to Applebee's, a certificate to McMillan's in Willmar, a fleece cover for their bat, a handmade fleece throw with their branch of service, and a certificate from Governor Tim Pawlenty's office for their service and recognition for the presentation of the award to them.
